2003 Season
by William Shakespeare
June 12–15, June 17–22
The Comedy of Errors reveals a world (not unlike our own) crammed with
commerce and credit, money and proper models of social behavior. There
is a correct time for everything: for manners, for business, for dining,
for drinking and even for philandering. In such a world it is important
to maintain one's reputation and, above all, never to look silly! Shakespeare
comically shatters this world when, against all odds, two men separated
from their twin brothers in infancy, enter this world and turn things upside
down by unknowingly taking their brothers' places.
by Tom Griffin
June 26–29, July 1–6
In this comedy you'll come face to face with four developmentally disabled
men and the experiences they have with their caretaker, neighbors, friends
and associates. Tom Griffin takes men who are seen as not normal and raises
the question "are you sure?" Through this wonderful comedy, we get to explore
what is normal or regular, and who gets to decide. We see the Boys at their
worst, we see the Boys at their best, and we see the Boys as they see themselves.
Further, we get to explore how "normal" people interact with the Boys and are,
perhaps, changed forever, by this contact. We walk away from this play truly
believing they are the boys next door.

The Rock Musical based on the Gospel of St Matthew! Godspell is an energetic
and innovative musical version of the Gospel according to Matthew. It is a
jubilant celebration of the power of faith. Jesus comes to save a world that
looks very much like our own in this playful, fun, and immensely popular
musical that shows the Gospel at work in modern times. Godspell sprang from
the youth culture of the swinging sixties and offered its first audiences a
contemporary approach to the greatest story ever told.
